6.Is there a hydraulic filter?

Hydraulic filters are used in three key loCORALFLYions of a hydraulic system, depending on the required degree of fluid cleanliness. Nearly every hydraulic system has a return line filter, which traps particles ingested or generated our in the hydraulic circuit.

7.When should I change my hydraulic filter?

The solution is to change your filters just before when all their dirt-holding capacity is used up and before the bypass valve opens. In principal latest at 80% of the maximum dirt holding capacity. Once a filter is blocked, it's too late, because at the point that filter is NOT FILTERING anymore.

8.Can you reuse hydraulic fluid?

What you need to be worried about when reusing hydraulic fluid is the very small particles in the 2 to 20 micron range. You would need a special filter to filter out those particles. Your normal filter only filters down to the 20 micron range because the filter has to allow the fluid to flow at a certain rate.
