Automatic Carton Box Slotting Forming Machine

I. Introduction

The machine adopts vacuum adsorption auxiliary paperboard feeding system (air volume is adjustable), with the function which can complete the slotting, angle-cutting, slitting, creasing etc. of corrugated paperboard in one time. Slotting depth of this machine is with electric adjustment, and equipped with the scale reading. Slotting phase adjustment is to the planetary gear structure, adopting the electric computer type 360 degrees adjustment, and the upper and lower slotting knife disc and creasing wheels can synchronous moving to left or right, (note: some special tool to adjust the movement), it is easy to use and maintenance, compact, which is a professional in view of the small carton slotting forming equipment .

II. Main Structure And Function Characteristics

1. Paper feeding roller adopts patterned roller, feeding roller pressure adopts eccentric wheel adjustment with left and right eccentric wheels, can adjust the pressure synchronously .

2. Back kick feeding department adopts both sides and back baffles to fasten paperboard, to avoid the slotting error to make upper paperboard misplace when pushing paperboard, can fit to each kinds of paperboard with different quality , and sending paper stable and accurate.

3. Slotting knife discs adopt full steel processed , slotting knives adopt sawtooth arc-shaped semicircle knives to slot and remove the waste, paperboard get into slitting roller after slotting, slitting knives cut both sides of the paperboard neatly . ( note : pressing wheel and slitting knives are installed in same roller, convenient to adjust )

4. Paperboard is sent out by six transmission shafts after slotting, corner-cutting, creasing and slitting . This machine power is equipped with the frequency speed controller (speed is adjustable freely), adopting JTE frequency converter.

5. This machine adopts electric planetary gear phase adjustment to adjust the paperboard size, can adjust without stopping .

III. Machine Structure

IV. Machine Operation

1. Choose the corrugated paperboard which you want to process, adjust the side feeding baffle (1 in Picture A) . Adjustment method : loose the screws in circle of below picture, move the two side feeding baffles (1 in Picture A) right or left , adjust the distance between two side baffles according to the length of paperboard , after finishing adjustment , tight the screw and fix the baffles.

2. Adjust the back feeding baffle (2 in Picture A) , adjustment method : loose the screws in circle of below picture , move the two back feeding baffles (2 in Picture A) forwards or backwards , adjust the suitable positions according to the width of paperboard , after finishing adjustment , tight the screw and fix the baffles.

3. Adjust the feeding clearance according to the thickness of paperboard : loose the screws in circle of below picture , move the front feeding baffles (3 in Picture A) up and down , make the distance between bottom of baffle and feeding table is 1.5 times of the thickness of paperboard . (when feed paperboard , can make the bottom paper pass and stop the second last)

4. According to the thickness of paperboard , to adjust the clearance of feeding rollers , creasing wheels and slotting knife discs , to feed , crease and slot the paperboard smoothly . Adjustment method : open the safety gate in the left of machine , there are three turbine worm adjusters , the uppermost one is to adjust the clearance between feeding rolls , the middle one is to adjust the clearance between creasing wheels , the lowermost one is to adjust the clearance between slotting knife discs.

5. Connect the power line , make the machine be charged with electricity.

6. Start the machine in front button panel (7 in Picture B) , like below picture , in picture 1 , the machine is power off (in this time , the “urgent stop” button is pressed) , loose the “urgent stop” , then “power indicator” light on , press the “mainframe on” , to start the machine , “mainframe indicator” light on , like picture 2.

Front Button Panel

1. Set the paperboard on feeding table which has been adjusted, adjust the three slotting knife discs and one corner-cutting knife disc, according to the right slotting and corner-cutting position of paperboard. The adjustment method like below: in back button panel (8 in Picture B), jog the two buttons “positive jog” and ”negative jog” in circle of picture 3 , rotate the knife disc and make the screw hole outside , shows in picture 4 , loose the screws with wrench , then like picture 5 , rotate the wrench and make the knife disc move right or left to the suitable slotting or corner-cutting position , when moving , the upper and lower knife discs and corresponding creasing wheel will move synchronously. The adjustment of the other three knife discs is same.

2. Box height adjustment : according to the box height which will be produced , in back button panel (8 in Picture B) , using “box height +” and “box height -” two buttons (the circle part in below picture) to adjust the distance between knife and knife in knife disc , also means the box height . There is the graduated scale in each knife disc , easy to accurate adjustment.

3. In front button panel (7 in Picture B) , like below Picture 6, press the “draught fan on” , “draught fan indicator” light on , to start the fan , rotate the “mainframe speed” knob, make the speed faster from zero. Test to feed one piece of paperboard, according to the real slotting and corner-cutting position, to adjust the phase. The phase adjustment in back button panel (8 in Picture B), using the two buttons “cardboard phase +” and “cardboard phase -” which are circled in Picture 8 to adjust.

4. After finishing the adjustment , can move each paper pressing device (6 in Picture B) between two knife discs, like below picture , then start the volume production of carton boxes.

The optional adjustment part when feed the paperboard with big length or big width :

1. When the length of paperboard is big , can move the front feeding baffle (3 in Picture A) right or left. Adjustment method : loose the screws in circle of below picture, move the two front feeding baffles (3 in Picture A), adjust the front feeding baffles to the suitable positions according to the length of paperboard , after finishing adjustment , tight the screw and fix the baffles.

2. When the width of paperboard is big , need to adjust the suction range of feeding table : first put one piece of paperboard on feeding table , and make the machine in low speed condition , check the walking range of the pushing plate (the rectangle part in below picture) . Ensure that the pushing plate doesn’t touch the paperboard when the pushing plate move the extreme edge of machine , then it can push the paperboard and make it feed forwards. If need to adjust the position of pushing plate , loose the screws which are circled in below picture , find and suitable screw hole in more lateral position , fix the pushing plate.

V. Easy-wearing Parts & Replace Method

1. Replacement of slotting knife and corner-cutting knife :

Shows in below picture , loose the screw of the part which need to be replaced , then can take down the knife , and install the new knife and fix the screw . If the screw is inside , can jog the “positive jog” or “negative jog” in the back button panel (8 in Picture B) , rotate the screw outside , convenient to take down.

2. Replace the waste-pick strip : shows in below picture , loose the screw in hole using the wrench , then can draw out the steel strip.

VI. Machine Maintenance

1. Regular check the bearings of machine and clean once every half a year to one year. The other connection parts , need to add the engine oil every half a year .

2. Before start the machine , check if there is the impurity inside , if there is some parts worn or broken , after checking and no abnormity , then start the machine . The machine should keep clean and tidy in long time .

VII. Machine Warranty & After-sale Service

1. This machine has one year warranty for whole structure , not including the knives , rubber roller etc. easy-wear parts . In warranty period , except the easy-wear parts and the damage which is caused by wrong operation , if there is the problem with electric elements , gears , bearing etc. structure parts , we will provide the replaced parts for free .

2. Beyond the warranty period, if there is parts damaged or broken, we will get paid to provide the replaced part.

3. For all the operation , maintenance etc. problems in production , our company will provide the technical solution and help to our customer for free.
