The corrugated paper cross-cutting machine, also known as a cross-cutting machine, falls under the category of carton processing machinery. Within a corrugated cardboard production line, the corrugated paper cross-cutting machine is the equipment used for cutting the cardboard into finished products. Its technical performance and equipment adjustment directly impact the precision of the final cut size, whether the creases break, and the smoothness and appearance of the cut edges of the finished cardboard.
The corrugated paper cross-cutting machine is one of the essential standalone machines in a corrugated cardboard production line. There are two types of cross-cutting machines based on the transmission control method: mechanical cross-cutting machines and computer-controlled cross-cutting machines. Computer-controlled cross-cutting machines are operated through industrial control computers. They cut the cardboard by controlling the rotation of the knife shaft based on the preset length. Combined with precise mechanical transmission, these machines can keep cutting errors within a range of ±1mm. Computer-controlled cross-cutting machines include helical knife cross-cutting machines and straight knife cross-cutting machines. Helical knife cross-cutting machines are more suitable for high-speed cutting of thick cardboard, providing smooth cuts and longer blade life.

The knife shaft drive gears are made of precision-forged steel material with high-frequency quenching, achieving backlash-free transmission. Advanced seamless connection methods are utilized for high transmission accuracy.
The cross-cutting machine blades feature an inlaid steel spiral blade structure with a sawtooth blade shape. Scissor-type cutting results in minimal cutting force and long blade life.
Both front and rear paper feed wheels employ a sun gear pressure paper method, ensuring smooth and even conveyance without damaging the board or causing blockages.
This machine utilizes regenerative braking (non-energy-consuming braking), leading to low energy consumption during production. The average power consumption is one-third of a regular NC cutting machine, saving over 70% and achieving cost-saving goals.
