White fingerprint background box

Purpose

After the fingerprint is developed with powders, lift it with adhesive tape and then attach the tape to the backing box. The fingerprint can be stored in a suspended state. White fingerprint backing box is used to store fingerprint developed with dark powders; black backing box is used to store fingerprint developed with light-colored powders.

Method of use

A. Stick the lifting tape on the side walls of the empty area, so that the fingerprint is suspended in midair.

B. The fingerprint can be photographed in sidelight in the lab. In many cases, photos taken with the backing box have better effect than that taken with a backing card.

C. Remove the adhesive tape from the fingerprint backing box and place it on the fingerprint backlighting rack, then photograph the fingerprint in backlight, which can produce an ideal effect.
