BTWX-IV Trace evidence collection vaccum sweeper

Purpose

Collect a wild range of trace evidence at the scene, such as pollen, metal chips, wood chips, paint fragments, scattered explosives, chemicals, fiber debris and human tissue fragments.

Composition

The trace evidence vacuum sweeper is composed of a vacuum sweeper and an adapter, with a filter placed in the adapter. The trace evidence is sucked into the vacuum adapter. The air penetrates the filter, and the trace evidence remains in the filter.

Method of use

A. Unscrew to open the front and rear ends of the transparent adapter and fit the filter into the adapter.

B. Attach the adapter to the mouth of the vacuum sweeper and turn on the power switch.

C. The trace evidence is sucked into the adapter and captured by the filter.

D. Store the adapter in the evidence bag

E. Replace the adapter to collect trace evidence in other places.

F. Go back to the lab, open up the adapter, take out the filter, and collect the trace evidence on the filter.

G. Clean the adapter, replace the filter for use of next time.

Features

It is equipped with 10 adapters to collect evidence in different places and prevent cross-contamination.

The power of the vacuum is variable to adapt to different situations. If the trace evidence is trapped in fibers or fluffy objects, the power of the vacuum should be increased; if the trace evidence is on the object surface, the power of the vacuum should be reduced.
