Yellow/red Spherical fluorescent fingerprint powder

Purpose

A. Develop fingerprints on non-porous and smooth surface. Suitable for multi-colored surface. Suitable for both horizontal and vertical surfaces.

B. When developing fingerprints on the multi-colored surface (such as colorful pictorial) with the non-fluorescent powders, the multi-colored background causes serious interference when photographed. When developed with the fluorescent powders, the fingerprints give off fluorescence under UV light in a dark environment, so the interference caused by the multi-colored background can be greatly reduced when photographed.

C. In general, the fingerprint is a mixture of grease and sweat. For greasy prints, powders have better results; for sweat prints, superglue has better results.

Composition

The container for powder with ceramic balls consists of two layers inside, the upper part contains the ceramic balls and the bottom part contains powder. Between them is the interlayer with small holes, from which the powder can pass through and the ceramic balls cannot. Shake the container up and down, the powder will enter the upper part and then adhere to the ceramic balls. Tap the container and the excessive powder will fall back to the bottom part. Such a structure ensures that an appropriate amount of powder adhere to the ceramic balls.

Packing

1 container of fluorescent yellow powder with ceramic balls and 1 container of fluorescent red powder with ceramic balls, packed into a transparent plastic box. If the container cap is loose, the plastic box can protect the investigation kit against the powder contamination.

Method

Shake the container up and down, the powder will enter the upper part through the interlayer and then adhere to the ceramic balls. Tap the container, the excessive powder will fall back to the bottom part, ensuring that an appropriate amount of powder adhere to the ceramic balls. Take off the cap, put a feather brush into the container, sweep the balls, make the brush attract an appropriate amount of powder, and then sweep the latent fingerprints with the brush.

Advantage

The ceramic balls can ensure that only an appropriate amount of powder is taken evenly by the brush, which can be used to sweep the fingerprints directly. The powder will not lump, namely, they can always be taken easily.
