Gray magnetic fingerprint powder

Purpose

A. Develop latent fingerprints on non-porous, non-magnetic and smooth surface. Suitable for multi-colored and horizontal surface.

B. In general, the fingerprint is a mixture of grease and sweat. For greasy prints, powders have better results; for sweat prints, superglue has better results.

Description

When developing fingerprints on the multi-colored surface (such as colorful pictorial), the black powder provides weak contrast against the dark background; the white powder provides weak contrast against the light-colored background; the gray powder provides appropriate contrast against both dark and light-colored backgrounds, which maintains the integrity of the ridge line.

Method

Use the magnetic powder applicator to attach powder as much as possible and sweep latent fingerprint with powder cluster until a gray fingerprint appears.
