Footprint lifting tape with white backing sheet

Purpose

Lift colored dust print and water-stained footprint, such as black dust print formed by coal ash and white dust print formed by flour or lime powder.

Composition

The lifter and the backing card are fixed together with the tape. When using, tear off the protective film of the lifter, lift the footprint and attach the lifter to the backing card.

Method of use

A. Tear off the protective film of the lifter, paste the outside edge of the footprint with lifter, and carefully roll the lifter with hand to make it slowly cover the entire footprint, be certain not to trap any air under the lifter. If there are air bubbles, pierce the bubbles with a needle and press them with hand to eliminate the bubbles.

B. Slowly tear off the lifter and attach the lifter to the footprint backing card. If the footprint is light, attach it to the black backing card; if the footprint is dark, attach it to the white backing card.

Features

A. Since the surface of the transparent footprint lifting tape is not smooth, the dark field, direct reflection or grazing incidence cannot improve the contrast of the footprint. The contrast can only be made by the comparison of the color of the dust forming the footprint and the color of the backing card.
