Red fluorescent fingerprint powder

Purpose

A. Develop fingerprints on non-porous and smooth surface. Suitable for multi-colored surface. Suitable for both horizontal and vertical surfaces.

B. In general, the fingerprint is a mixture of grease and sweat. For greasy prints, powders have better results; for sweat prints, superglue has better results.

Description

A. When developing fingerprints on the multi-colored surface (such as colorful pictorial) with the non-fluorescent powders, the multi-colored background causes serious interference when photographed. When developed with the fluorescent red powder, the fingerprints give off red fluorescence under violet light in a dark environment, so the interference caused by the multi-colored background can be greatly reduced when photographed.

B. The fluorescent red powder has weak adhesion to the fingerprints and only the feather brush can be used to uncover the fingerprints.

Method

Dip enough powder with the feather brush to sweep the latent fingerprints directly. Due to the weak adhesion of the fluorescent powder, one area can only be swept once or twice to avoid dagame to the ridge line. A powder blowing ball can be used to remove redundant powder.
