Thin wall bearing shells can be mass produced by continuous rolling of bimetal plates.

The bearing material is usually soft, and the inner cylinder surface is not suitable for grinding. It can be processed by boring, diamond boring, scraping or grinding. When grinding, do not use the method of matching with the shaft diameter, but use a special grinding rod with the same size as the bearing pad hole. Scraping is mostly used for part of the pad bearing, with a wide blade machine. When scraping by hand, the scratches should be shallow. Special boring method should be adopted according to the specific shape of bearing bush with complex inner surface shape.
