Product Description

Cryogenic valves are very similar to conventional valves, with the exception of materials and features such as an extended stem. These extended stems allow handles or actuators to be at an ambient temperature.

Cryogenic valves normally refer to valves with working temperature below -20°C, widely used in industrial gas, LNG, LPG and other low temperature applications and regulating or controlling the flow of cryogenic gases, slurries or liquids at low temperatures. These valves come in different shapes and sizes so that they can handle different pressures required by various applications. Some of the common types of cryogenic valves are butterfly valves, relief valves, ball valves and globe valves. The user can manually operate or automate cryogenic valves to handle large systems.

Advantages

1. The fluid resistance is small, it is the ball valve with the smallest fluid resistance among all valves. Even a ball valve with a reduced diameter has a relatively small fluid resistance.

2. Thrust bearing reduces the friction torque of the valve stem, which can make the valve stem work smoothly and flexibly for a long time.

3. Pneumatic ball valve seat has good sealing performance. The sealing ring made of elastic material such as polytetrafluoroethylene is easy to seal, and as the pressure of the medium increases, the valve sealing ability of the ball valve also increases.

4. The sealing of the pneumatic ball valve stem is reliable. Since the valve stem only imitates rotation without lifting movement, the packing seal of the valve stem is not easy to break, and as the pressure of the medium increases, the sealing ability also increases.

5. Due to the good self-lubricating properties of PTFE and other materials, the friction loss with the ball is small, so the service life of the ball valve is long.

6. The valve stem and the raised step of the valve stem head installed at the bottom can prevent the valve stem from popping out. If the valve stem seal is damaged by fire, metal contact may also be formed between the boss and the valve body to ensure the valve stem is sealed.

7. Anti-static function of pneumatic ball valve: a spring is installed between the ball, the stem and the valve body, the spring can output the static electricity generated by the switching process and the actuator.
