ISO3419 Standard Long Short Radius 60 90 Degree Elbows Carbon Steel Pipe Elbow
The ways of connecting with the pipe are: direct welding (the more common way) flange connection, hot melt connection, electric melt connection, thread connection and socket connection, etc.According to the production process can be divided into: welding elbow, stamping elbow, push elbow, casting elbow and so on.Other names: 90 degree bend, right Angle bend, etcCarbon steel elbow can be divided into long radius elbow and short radius elbow according to its radius of curvature.
Long radius elbow refers to the outer diameter of the pipe whose radius of curvature is equal to 1.5 times, i.e., R= 1.5d.Product furnished to this specifification shall conform to the requirements of Specifification A960/A960M, including any supplementary requirements that are indicated in the purchase order. Failure to comply with the requirements of Specifification A960/A960M constitutes non-conformance with this specififi-cation. The term “wrought” denotes fittings made of pipe, tubing, plate, or forgings. Fittings made from block forgings may only be supplied subject to agreement between the manufacturer and purchaser. Such fittings need not meet the requirements of section 7. For applications where fatigue loading is a concern, required minimum dimensions shall be furnished by the purchaser. Fittings may be made to special dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances by agreement between the manufacturer and the purchaser. This Standard states values in both SI (Metric) and U.S.Customary units. These systems of units are to be regarded separately as standard. Within the text and tables, the U.S. Customary units are shown in parentheses. The values statedin each systemare not exact equivalents;therefore, it is required that each system of units be used independently of the other. Combining values from the two systems constitutes nonconformance with the Standard.
