Unparalleled Flexibility EPS-D0P 24V 100A For DC Motor Controller ( Electronic Power Steering (EPS))

Product Description:

EPS-D0P is an DC brushed permanent magnet motor controller used as a steering system controller for industrial vehicles such as forklift, stackers…etc.
The basic working logic of EPS-D0P is interpreting commands input and wheel position feedbacks into controlling signals to steering wheels. Steering motor must be geared down significantly to achieve the high torque required to rotate the driving wheels. Typically, this is achieved by using a gearbox with a reduction ratio of approximately 200:1. Steering commands can be originated from a linear potentiometer, analog voltage sensor, or quadrature encoder. The command is interpreted as an absolute position or a relative position request.
EPS-D0P is compatible with DALA AC traction motor controller of corresponding communication protocols. It can also operate independently to perform the steering function.

Motor Control

  1. Supports absolute and relative position control modes optionally.
  2. 15kHz PWM switching frequency ensures quiet operation.
  3. Advanced PWM technology generates low motor harmonics, low torque ripple and minimal heat loss, thus improving the efficiency.
  4. 24V nominal supply voltage.
  5. 60A 1-minute rated current, continuous output of 30A for 1 hour, 70A boost for 10 seconds.

Safety & Reliability

  1. Fault output can be used to shut down the main contractor and EM brake of the traction controller.
  2. Real-time error check ensures timely wheel position tracking of steering commands.
  3. Power on self-check for drive, power supply, EEPROM, internal relays, etc.
  4. Periodic self-checks (parameters, motor status, commands and feedback devices +5V/12V output power, ALU, RAM, task cycle).

Flexibility

  1. Integrated diagnostic log function to record historical faults.
  2. Handheld programmer tools available for displaying controller status and steering information, such as BDI faults, traction speed, and steering wheel angle etc.
  3. +5V and +12V low-power supplies for input sensors, etc.
  4. provide easy programming and powerful system diagnostics and monitoring capabilities.
