MX wheels are specially formulated to grind Tungsten Carbide and Steel in combination. The name MX originally came about from the mixing of CBN and Diamond powders that were required to grind dissimilar materials. Since that time, diamond powder characteristics, coatings and armors and processing techniques have all evolved into a much more sophisticated product.
