Product Description:

  • 3M™ 5480 polytetrafluoroethylene film tape uses sliced polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) with a well-formed film backing. The tape has an extremely low coefficient of friction, and its combination with pressure-sensitive silicone adhesives produces a smooth, non-stick surface on a variety of substrates, helping the coil to move in many types of reel applications.

Product Features:

  • The non-stick PTFE film has a particularly smooth surface for easy cleaning
  • Silicone adhesives can be removed from a variety of surfaces
  • 3M™ PTFE film tape is more conformable than typical extruded PTFE film tape
