1. First shake the crankshaft wheel to the position of the first cylinder, a small point on the crankshaft wheel aligns with the longest protruding strip on the front oil seal shell, keep this position, and then install the crankshaft rear oil seal. Note that there is a small point on the oil seal shell after bending, which can be installed on the crankshaft by aligning with the empty point on the wheel disc.
2. The crankshaft is sealed at the inner position of the crankshaft disc, and the rear oil seal of the crankshaft is at the flying disc at the connection between the engine and the gearbox.
3. After the crankshaft is assembled with the cylinder block, the main bearing cover is assembled. Before assembling the rear main bearing cover, sealant should be left at the rear of the joint plane, and then tightened according to the specified torque, and the main bearing cover bolts should be tightened with the torque.
4. After the crankshaft is assembled, when assembling the rear oil seal of the crankshaft, a special tool should be used to press the thick crankshaft oil seal into the tool, and the rear oil seal should be pressed from the rear end of the crankshaft.
5. Be sure to ensure the levelness of the oil seal during the press-in process of the oil seal.
More than 90% of the oil leakage problems are because the rubber sealing ring has been subjected to alternating cold and warm temperatures for a long time, resulting in the loss of a large amount of plasticizers and softeners in the sealing ring, and the problem of corrosion, aging and hardening occurs.
