Description

Ground clamp for measuring AC leakage

The 1630-2 FC clamp meter uses two pliers to measure the ground loop resistance of a multi-ground system. This testing technique eliminates the dangerous and time-consuming operation of disconnecting the parallel ground, as well as the process of finding the appropriate location for the auxiliary test pile. You can also perform ground tests in places that were previously difficult to operate: inside a building, on a power tower, or anywhere you don't have access to soil to place auxiliary test piles.
