Ultrasonic Transducer with Booster 20kHz for Mask Welding
Ultrasonic transducer is the core component of welding machine, which is mainly composed of vibrator and amplitude modulator. Its function is to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy through simple harmonic vibration of vibrator and drive resonance of transducer under the excitation of electric signal. The transducer vibrator adopts sandwich structure, which is composed of the front and rear driving blocks, piezoelectric wafers and electrode plates clamped by prestressed bolts. The front drive block and amplitude modulator are assembled by connecting screws.
When a voltage is applied at the two poles of the piezoelectric wafer, due to the reverse piezoelectric effect of the piezoelectric ceramic material, the piezoelectric wafer will deform in the thickness direction (i.e. the axial direction of the transducer). The deformation is repeatedly stretched and compressed under the action of alternating current, thus converting electrical energy into mechanical energy. Under the action of alternating current, the oscillator periodically stretches and compresses at the resonant frequency, and at the same time drives the amplitude modulator to resonate. In this way, the oscillator and the amplitude modulator become a simple harmonic vibration unit. The vibrator is excited by the electrical signal, and then the amplitude modulator is excited, and the two resonate. At the same time, the radial deformation of each resonant element is periodic. The axial deformation is the largest at both ends of the element, and the radial deformation is the smallest, while the position of the middle node is opposite. The structural gain of the resonant unit is directly proportional to the mass ratio at both ends of the node. The amplitude of the ultrasonic transducer depends not only on the structural gain of the vibrator and amplitude modulator, but also on the applied voltage. The higher the amplitude, the higher the voltage, the higher the output power.
