1940nm has the highest absorption coefficient in water as compared to the Generationl to Generation 3 laser diodes (808 nm,980nm,
and1470 nm).This means that there is a higher absorption of the laser energy by the interstitial water in thevenous walls.
Studies have proven that efficiency of 1940 nm laser to be the most superior for EVLA than the others.In fact, it has been proven that the
1940 nm laser diode has an absorption rate severaltimes higher than 1470nm laser and dozens of times higher than 98onm laser.
The water-based structure of the vein structure ensures that the water-based lasers like1940 nm is preferentially absorbed
in the intercellular water of the vein wall and in the water content of the blood. This results in less chance of collateral
heating bringing about optimal vein ablation.
Cherylas 1940nm laser is effective for vein closure by using smaller doses of energy supplied to the vein ,
significantly reduces post-procedural pain and chances of complication with less risk of burns
and related discoloration effects.

Interactive User Interface
Treatments can be administered and managed with three options: 1) Manual Protocols using the power level, operating mode and timer selections; 2) Preset Protocols that utilize a built-in database of protocols that are organized by anatomy and condition; 3) Custom Protocols that allows the user to create their own unique protocols.
Choice Of Different Operating Modes
Two operating modes Continuous Wave (CW) or Pulsed Modes (50khzFrequencies) are built into the diode laser equipment. The specific power level (watts) can be adjusted through progress bar on the color touchscreen. The Pulsewidth can be operated using different units, like you can set duration 50us, interval 1ms.
