Portable 980nm EVLT Laser Machine for endovenous laser ablation
Laser Ablation
This procedure is a minimally invasive procedure that is performed in a physician’s office or clinic, to treat symptomatic varicose veins. A laser fiber is advanced through the skin incision into the insufficient vein. The laser then heats the lining of the affected vein, causing it to shrink and collapse and to eventually disappear. This technique is used to treat large varicose veins and is not suitable for spider veins.
Ablation and Laser Treatment
Ablation uses a thin, flexible tube called a catheter inserted into a vein in the leg. Tiny electrodes at the tip of the catheter heat the walls of the vein and destroy it. Similarly, laser treatment uses a tiny fiber that is placed in the vein through a catheter. The fiber sends out laser energy that kills the diseased portion of the vein, and the vein closes off. These two modes of treatment frequently replace the stripping that is performed on the saphenous vein that is described above. The objective is to destroy the saphenous vein that is providing the source for varicose vein development. It can be performed alone or in conjunction with ambulatory phlebectomy, which removes individual clusters of varicose veins from the leg. Your vascular surgeon will advise you regarding which procedure is best for your particular situation
Endovenous_laser ablation_vein_ diagramEndovenous laser ablation treats the following conditions:
Varicose veins
Chronic Venous Insufficiency
Throbbing leg pain
Swollen legs
Skin irritation or ulcers
Skin Discoloration
Phlebitis – painful swelling of the veins
Leg heaviness or fatigue
Dual wavelength laser is one capable of producing two widely separated laser wavelengths in a single device. Normally, laser devices operate on a single wavelength, or two closely spaced wavelengths.
BERYLAS laser is capable with one, two and three wavelength. It’s compact yet powerful, dual-wavelength laser source that is now available in a range of different wavelength pairs including 810nm, 980nm, 1064nm,.
This new innovative technology provides a compact and cost-effective alternative to setting up and aligning two separate laser sources whilst providing greater long term reliability and lifetime than traditional technologies.
BERYLAS laser family continues to provide long lifetime and delivers exceptional power stability with low amplitude noise. Additional functionality such as interlock and output diagnostics for laser current and temperature level as standard, mean your instrument design capabilities can be taken to new levels of innovation.
