Laser decreases nerve sensitivity by decreasing bradykinin; a pain eliciting chemical. It normalizes ion channels (cellular gatekeepers) and releases endorphins [body’s natural pain reliever] and enkephalins [related to endorphins] that produce an analgesic effect.
