Low Price High Quality Floating Foam Fender Polyurethane Cover ISO Standard
Description
Floating foam filled fenders are also very often used in ship-to-ship and ship-to-quay berthing operations. They are used as alternatives to the normal pneumatic fenders. These fender are made of polyurethane elastomer skin ( or rubber skin), nylon reinforcement layer and closed-cell resilient foam. The performance of foam elastomer fenders is comparable to that of a pneumatic fender, but the fenders will not lose their function in case the skin gets punctured, and they have a high degree of wear resistance.
Floating Foam Fender is also a kind of compressed fender which builds outer protective layer with polyurethane materials and adopts polyurethane foaming material or plastic foaming as buffer medium. The destructive effects on docks and ships will be reduced by the compression to absorb the impact energy from ships in the course of using polyurethane floating fender.
Floating Foam Fender absorbs the impacts whilst the skin resists wear and tear in any tough conditions, thus providing tough, heavy-duty marine fender systems for harbors, offshore and ship-to-ship applications.

Structure
Foam Core - The closed cell EVA foam core used inside offers unsink ability during operation.
Outer Rubber + Nylon Cord Fabrics - Specifically designed to seal EVA foam inside and to prevent any leakage.
Polyurea Spraying Coating - Permanent spray on coatings that protect the surface of fender body. It is more durable than rubber and flexible in all weather conditions; no softening in heat or becoming brittle in cold.
Features
1. Low Hull Pressure
2. Can be manufactured in special sizes for a specific purpose
3. Performance can be altered by changing the grade of foam
4. Available in non-staining colours
5. Quite easy to install, dismantle and re-locate
6. Low maintenance
7. Robust and Unsinkable design
Applications
● Navy vessel berths and cruise terminals
● Offshore boat landings
● Ship-to-shore operations
● LNG and oil terminals
● Shipyards
Advantages
◆ Virtually unsinkable and will keep functioning – even if damaged beyond viable repair.
◆ Whatever else happens, fender will not deflate, burst or sink.
◆ Especially tough skin and chain tyre net make it the strongest floating fender.
◆ Extremely durable, it has lower friction and lower specific gravity.
◆ Strong floating performance, lower weight, excellent energy absorption, flexible install location without being influenced by tidal range.
