Durable Tee Head Marine Mooring Bollard Cast Iron QT450 Bollards Boat Ship Parts
Description
T Head Type Dock Bollard is the commonest dock bollard. They shape has been optimize the geometry and anchor layout, which provide high impact resistance, remain highly stable and provide a safe mooring at full working load. Meanwhile, cast steel and stainless steel are some of the main materials used to make Tee head bollards. The material both strong and resistant to corrosion, it can make it enjoy a long and trouble free service life.
The bollard is designed and selected according to the berth capacity and the structure of the wharf to meet the requirements of safety, reliability and ease of use for ships leaving the dock, berthing, shifting and turning around. The bollard is composed of shell, anchor rod, nut, washer, anchor plate and core packing. The bollard is divided into cast iron (HT200) and cast steel (ZG230-450), specification model: 50KN-2000KN.

Coating System
Coatings are an essential part of the system as it prevents excessive corrosion that can weaken a bollard. This is particularly significant for cast steel bollards, which are less corrosion resistant than ductile iron bollards. Virtually any coating requested can be applied, but some attention to the abrasion resistance of the coating should given as the direct contact and movement of the mooring lines will result in accelerated wear of any coating. Bollards can be supplied fully painted from our factory or with an easily removable rust preventative primer that allows surface preparation and coating on-site after installation. Traditionally, cleats are supplied hot dip galvanized, but can also be supplied painted if requested.
Quality Assurance
Mooring Bollards are safety critical items and quality is paramount. Independent third party witnessing of test is available at additional cost on request. A typical quality documentation package will include:
