ISO17357-1:2014 Pneumatic Rubber Fender CTN Type 3300*6500MM CTN Type
Description
Pneumatic Rubber Fender has been widely used for around 50 years. It is the leading anti-collision device for marine application in the world. This compressed air-filled rubber fender is used as a protective medium for ship-to-ship contact (STS), ship to quay (STQ) and ship-to-berthing (STB).
Pneumatic rubber fender, Net-Type are covered with a chain net, wire net, or fiber net. Each end of longitudinal chains, wires, or fibers is linked together with one or two ring(s), which shall be connected with a guy chain or guy-rope. Usually, these nets have used tires together with rubber sleeves for additional protection to the fender body, except for fiber net which has only rubber sleeves. Chain nets last longer against corrosion, while wire nets are light and more easily repaired.
