Electric Safety
◎ The ultrasound system must use an independent power socket which has
the protective grounding conductor.
◎ The ultrasound system must use the three-prong power supply cord
provided by or designated by Saset.
◎ Not to position the ultrasound system to make it difficult to operate the
power plug which uses to isolate the ultrasound system circuits electrically form the supply mains.
◎ Wrong connections to peripherals (e.g., printer) may result in the system
unsafe in use.
◎ The equipment (analog or digital) connected to the ultrasound system
must comply with the relevant IEC standards (e.g., IEC 60950 information technology equipment safety standard and IEC 60601-1 medical equipment standard). Furthermore, all configurations must comply with the standard IEC 60601-1 clause 15.It is the responsibility of the person, who connects additional equipment to the signal input or output ports and configures a medical system, to verify that the system complies with the requirements of IEC 60601-1 clause 15.
◎ Do not touch the Signal I/O ports if in contact with the patient, otherwise
patient injury may result.
◎ The ultrasound system uses high-frequency signals which may interfere
with a pacemaker. Users should notice the potential dangers and turn off the system immediately if interference is discovered or suspected.
◎ To avoid burns, do not use the ultrasound system with high-frequency(HF)
