It is a soft, yet durable polymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate commonly used in flooring, but also in sports equipment, and set design. The material is frequently used to manufacture flip-flops as it is soft without being sponge-like. EVA foam is trouble-free and easy to work with and often comes in a variety of colors and thicknesses.

EVA foam EVA are famous for being lightweight, easy to form, odorless, glossy, and cheaper compared to natural rubber. It is used as padding in various sports equipment such as bicycle saddles, hockey pads, boxing and mixed martial arts gloves and helmets, ski boots, surfboards, wakeboard boots, waterski boots, fishing rods and fishing reel handles.
