Lifting Hook Introduction:

Crane Hook is one of the most important devices for a crane. With the help of pulleys, the crane hook group can realize the hoisting and lifting function.

Hooks have single hook and double hooks, which are classified into five strength grades M,P,S,T,V according to the mechanical property. Forging hook and strap type hook are manufactured according to method of manufacturing.

Classification:

The classification of hooks is very wide, generally including: shackles, rings, rings, pear-shaped rings, long rings, combination rings, S hooks, nose hooks, American hooks, claw hooks, eye-shaped sliding hooks, and safety card rings Screws and chain shackles have the characteristics of unique, novel, high quality and safety, and are suitable for factories, mines, petroleum, chemical and ship terminals. Ensure safety, quality safety factor, static load up to 3 times. The lifting capacity is from 5 tons to 150 tons.

Lifting Hook Specification:

Crane forging hook

  1. Capacity: 1- 500t

  2. Pulley: 1- 12 pulley,

  3. use on overhead, gantry cranes and all kinds hoist,

  4. strength grade: M, P, S, T, V grade

Materials:

  • M grade with DG20, or DG20Mn

  • P grade with DG20Mn

  • S grade with DG34CrMo

  • T grade below 40t with DG34CrMo, more than 40t with DG34CrNiMo or DG30Cr2Ni2Mo

  • V grade below 40t with DG34CrNiMo or DG30Cr2Ni2Mo, more than 40t with DG30Cr2Ni2Mo.

  • Single hook: 5t/6t/10t/12t/16t/20t/25t/32t/40t/50t/63t/80t/100t/125t/160t/200t/250t

  • Double hook: 10t/12t/16t/20t/25t/32t/40t/50t/63t/80t/100t/125t/160t/200t/250t/450t

Application:


The single hook has the simple structure, which is easy to operate, but its stress condition is bad so it is mainly used in the workplace which with below 80 tons lifting capacity. When lifting capacity is big, double hook is a better choose for its load-bearing is symmetric.
