Components of a Travel Lift Crane

1. Frame: This is the main structure of the crane, made of steel or aluminum, and usually has a U-shaped or H-shaped design. The frame is designed to straddle boats, allowing them to be easily lifted and moved.

2. Wheels: Travel lift cranes are equipped with multiple sets of wheels to provide mobility. The wheels may be powered by electric or hydraulic motors, enabling the crane to move both forward and backward as well as steer.

3. Hoist and slings: The hoist is the mechanism used to lift the boat, and it consists of a combination of winches, cables, and pulleys. Slings, made of nylon or other durable materials, are used to support the boat's hull during lifting. These slings can be adjusted to accommodate different boat sizes and shapes.

4. Operator's cab: A travel lift crane typically has a cab for the operator, from which they control the lifting, lowering, and movement of the crane. The cab may be located at an elevated position on the frame to give the operator a better view of the boat and the surrounding area.
