Brief of Internal Pressure-Operated Circulating Valve

The IPO circulating valve is the internal pressure operated circulating valve which is able to apply for the cased hole and open hole drill stem testing operation. With the full bore design, the IPO circulating valve allows circulation through the work string before trip-out and serves as a drain during trip-out.

Operation Notice for the DST tools

1. After a job, the tool should be completely disassembled and cleaned. Replace all the O-rings and visually inspect all sealing surfaces and thread connections for damage. Replace any damaged components found that would adversely effect the operation of the tool.

2. Make sure you have an instruction manual, a maintenance check sheet, and the accurate, effective assembly drawing before the maintenance.

3. Make sure use the high temperature o-rings in the high temperature well and H2S, acid condition.
