Drill Stem Testing Tools Tester Valve / Circulating Valve Ball Valve Section

The Ball Valve assembly is the most important part of drill stem testing tools including OMNI circulating valve/Multi - circulating valve, Select tester valve, LPR-N valve and Super safety valve. Normally, the ball valve assembly is made of Inconnel steel, which issure the hardess and make the ball valve ong life service during the well testing operation.

OMNI Circulating Valve / Multi-cycle circulating valve

The ball valve section is comprised of the spring fingers, the upper seat holder, the lower seat holders, the operating pins, the ball valve assemblies ,lower adapter, etc. The ball valve will be closed before opening the circulating port, so it makes sure that the circulating medium is separated from the formation fluid in circulation The Circulating valve and ball valve work together to keep circulating pressure off the formation. The Ball Valve will close before the circuating valve opens, The ball valve closes off the workstring.

Select tester valve

The ball valve section contains the ball valve and the mechanism that rotates the ball when the tool is activated; the ball is rotated to the open position allowing the reservoir to flow into the testing string.

LPR-valve

The ball valve operates independently of internal pressure changes, like with acidizing or fracturing operations, no need special bypass tools, but if a production packer is used, the pressure will transfer to formation directly if no bypass tool involved.
