WWB Type Manual Tong Casing Tong for 2 3/8-10" Casing

Product Introduction

Manual tong is an essential tool in oil drilling operation to fasten or remove the screws of drill pipe and casing joint or coupling. The handling size of manual tong I can be adjusted by changing latch lug jaws and latch steps. The available range of manual tong is from 3-3/8" to 12-3/4".

We supply a range of tubing and casing tongs made of high alloy steel and heat-treated for strength and wear. The tongs incorporate a wrap-around design with approximately 300° of die contact to minimize cutting or crushing of the pipe. All tongs are pull tested and documentation is available.

1. The manual tongs are designed and manufactured in accordance with the API Spec 7K.
2. It is used to make up and break our drill pipes,coupling hoop of the drill pipe,joint,casings,casing hoops etc.
3. Changing the latch lug jaws and handling shoulders can adjust the handing size of the tongs.
4. There are Btype for 3 3/8-13 3/8,SB type for 3 1/2-13 3/8,AAX type for 2 7/8-13 3/8,C type ofr 2 3/8-10 3/4,WWB type for 2 3/8-10 3/4 etc.

Product Structure

Manual body is connected with joint pin on the boom and hang over the well rigs through the top ring on the boom,. Try to keep the tongs body in horizontal level by adjusting the balance head and adjustable square head screw. The pipe threads cold be tightened or removed as soon as the steel wire rope which is fastened on the tongs line pip has been pulled firmly after the latch and the lug jaw have been looped and the pipes have been held by the tongs head.
