Drilling fluids circulation system for oil well drilling and work over rig is widely used in oilfield or gas field. Considering different drilling depth and the working condition, there will be various configuration and design.
There are mud tanks, from trip tank to the reserve tank. There are equipment from shale shaker to centrifuge. There are auxiliary equipment from mud agitator to the tank suction valve.
Shale shaker is the first phase solids control equipment, usually remove particles larger than 75 microns. The fluids come from well head through the elevated pipe or the gas separator discharge line. Then fluids pass to the desander, desilter, centrifuge decanter as a solids removal cycle. Besides process, we need to mix the drilling mud or compound it as mud system trip.
