APGLW Decanter centrifuge is a normal decanting centrifuge made of Aipu company, they are ideal choices for separaring particles in driling mud. Decanter centrifuge deparate the suspending fluids using the principle of centrifugal action, the suspending fluids is pushed into the rotor drum through the inlet pipe and fluid hole of the spiral feeder. Under the influence of centrifugal force, solid phase particles are pushed to the internal wall of the drum, then to the mud export of the samll end of the drum and excreted. But the fluids is excreted from the overflow hole of the large end. Such cycle is in order to achieve the purpose of continuous separation. High speed decantering centrifuge are effectice for separation.
APGLW355x1258N is high speed centrifuge decanter used in drilling fluids process for oil and gas drilling. The centrifuge can be used separated in solids control system, or used together with the middle speed centrifuge. Besides fine cuttings removal, the APGLW355x1258 centrifuge can get the barite recycled.
Working principle of centrifuge
The working principle of horizontal screw centrifuge is very simple. It has been known by the public for a century. The drum and screw are supported by separate suspension.The material enters through the inlet pipe and accelerates into the core drum body through the drum.

Centrifuge here is also referred as the centrifuge decanter or decanting centrifuge. High speed centrifuge speed is 2800-3200rpm. And for the high speed centrifuge, suggest the VFD high speed centrifuge. Centrifuge is set after the mud cleaner or the desilter. As we know the desilter cone theoretically remove solids larger than 15 microns. While centrifgue can remove 2-7 microns cuttings. The high speed centrifuge can get rid of 2-5 microns particles.

The maximum flow rate of the APGLW355 centrifuge is 35m³/h at rate of 3200rpm. However, when the speed varies the centrifuge flow rate varies, too.
