The BW250 mud pump belongs to a horizontal three cylinder reciprocating single acting piston pump, and its working principle is as follows:
Power conversion: The crankshaft at the power end begins to rotate under the drive of a power source (such as an electric motor, diesel engine, etc.). The crankshaft is equipped with three connecting rods of the same size, each connected to the piston through a crosshead and piston rod. In this way, the rotational motion of the crankshaft is converted into the reciprocating linear motion of the piston inside the pump cylinder through the connecting rod, crosshead, and piston rod.
Inhalation process: When the piston moves backwards, the volume inside the pump cylinder increases, the pressure decreases, and negative pressure is formed. At this time, the mud enters the pump cylinder through the suction pipe under the action of external atmospheric pressure. One end of the suction pipe is inserted into the mud source such as the mud pit, and the other end is connected to the suction valve of the pump. The mud smoothly enters the pump cylinder under the pressure difference.
Discharge process: When the piston moves forward, the volume inside the pump cylinder decreases, the mud is squeezed, and the pressure increases. Under pressure, the mud pushes the discharge valve open and is discharged from the pump body through the drainage pipe, transported to the required locations such as drilling and grouting positions. In this way, the piston continuously performs reciprocating motion, and the mud is continuously sucked in and discharged, achieving continuous transportation of the mud.
The daily maintenance of BW250 mud pump needs to be carried out from multiple aspects, and the following are some precautions:
1. Power end maintenance
Check the lubricating oil
Check the oil level of the power end lubricating oil daily to ensure that it is within the range specified by the oil gauge. If it is insufficient, it should 2. be added in a timely manner.
Check the quality of the lubricating oil every certain working time (usually 200-300 hours). If the oil becomes black, thin, or has impurities, it should be replaced in a timely manner.
Check the transmission components
Regularly check the tightness of the belt to ensure smooth transmission and no slipping. Loose belts can affect transmission efficiency, while tight 3. belts can increase wear on bearings and belts.
Regularly check whether the connecting bolts of the crankshaft, connecting rod, crosshead, piston rod and other components are loose. If they are loose, they should be tightened in a timely manner to prevent component damage caused by looseness.
Pay attention to whether there are any abnormal sounds during the operation of the power end. If any abnormal sounds such as collision or friction are found, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection and troubleshooting.
Overall maintenance
1. Cleaning equipment
Regularly cleaning the surface of the mud pump of mud, oil, and dust, keeping the appearance of the equipment clean, is beneficial for heat dissipation and timely detection of equipment problems.
Clean up the debris around the equipment, keep the working environment clean, and facilitate operation and maintenance.
2. Check the sealing components
Check all sealing parts, such as shaft seals and pipe joint seals, for any leakage. If there is any leakage, replace the seals in a timely manner.
Pay attention to whether the dust seal ring on the pull rod is intact. If it is damaged, it should be replaced in a timely manner to prevent mud from entering the power end.
3. Check the piping system
Check whether the inlet and outlet pipes are damaged, aged, blocked, etc. If there are any problems, they should be repaired or replaced in a 3. timely manner.
4. Ensure that the connection of the pipeline is firm, without looseness or leakage, to avoid affecting the normal operation of the mud pump due to pipeline problems.
