Swivel Joint / Knuckle joint For Wireline Tool String 1.25" - 2.5"
The Swivel Joint is the knuckle joint, as the part of wireline tool string, the swivel joint is used to minimize the line twist when running in and and pulling out of the well. It is usually located below rope socket and the bearings permits rotational movement when maintaining longitudinal rigidity in the tool string. This design is suitable to handle impact from heavy upwards and downward jarring.
The swivel joint has a double fishneck feature and standard pin and box thread.The swivel joint ensures free rotation of downhole tool string assemblies, capable of withstanding high impact forces, suitable for use with the latest generation of high impact jars and reduces the build of torque in the tool string.
