BOP Safety Valve / Super Safety Valve For Oil Well Testing Service
The BOP Safety Valve is fail-safe sub-surface barrier, works as a master valve for testing from a land or jack-up rig. It is normally run inside or below the blowout preventer (BOP) and is used to control well flow. The Safety Valve is held in the BOP so that when activated, the ball valve will seal off the string below. Meanwhile, pipe rams can be activated to seal off the annulus
The BOP Safety Valve features a 3.0-in. ID, 8.0-in. OD, and 15,000 psi working pressure. This valve has a through port for chemical injection downhole or to control a subsurface safety valve. It is capable of cutting wireline and coiled tubing using the nitrogen charge or by application of balance line pressure.
