Grease Injection Control Head For Wireline Pressure Control Equipment
The Grease Injection Head is a part of wireline pressure control equipment. Grease Injection Head is a sealing device and designed for use on braided cable wireline operation and designed to perform a wireline sealing function on braided cable. Positioned at the uppermost point of the pressure control equipment string, the Grease Injection Head comprises two major sub assemblies: the stuffing box or pack-off and the flow tube assembly.
The flow tubes are close tolerance fitting around the wireline. Along with the flow tube sleeves, they form the main length of thegrease injection control head. This length provides sufficient column height when in service to form an effective grease seal.In operation, the Grease Injection Head is assembled around the wireline before it is attached to the rope socket.
