Description:
Rotary Sand Dryers are one of the typical applying area of rotary dryers due to its reliable performance, high efficiency and low manufacturing cost. Our factory has been making rotary dryers for drying sand since 1950s. Back then only single-pass rotary dryers were available for all drying processes. As entering 21st century, all industries facing more and more environmental challenges and higher demand for energy efficiency. Our factory started to R &D Triple-pass Rotary Sand Dryers in 2002, which now has basically replaced conventional single-pass rotary dryer in sand drying plants.
Rotary dryer is widely used to dry materials in industries like cement, mine, construction, chemical, food, compound fertilizer, etc. Thermocouples are installed in feeding and discharging units to control temperature. Temperature change of the dryer also can be indicated by the thermometer, which is convenient for temperature control inside the dryer ( it is usually 250-350℃).

Working Principle :
The material to be dried is pushed back immindiately by spiral board when enters the shell from feeding tank and feeding chute. Because the drier is installed in slope, material flows to the back end under gravity and rotation force, meanwhile, it is lifted by board repeatedly and thrown down accordingly, which make the material form even curtain, and exchange heat sufficiently with inner the heat flow. In the end, water in the material is dried by repeatedly scattering.
Application:
The equipment is used for drying yellow sand, slag, clay and other raw materials, widely used in building material, chemical industry, casting and glass industries etc,
