The principle of water transfer

Water transfer printing is a water-soluble film made of special processing as the medium. After printing the required color pattern on the film, the water-soluble film printed with the pattern is placed on the water surface. Using the action of water pressure, the ink of the color pattern is uniformly transferred and adhered to the surface of the product, and the film is dissolved in water. After cleaning and drying, spray on a layer of transparent protective finish, scratch resistant and fast fading.

Water transfer is actually a pipeline printing process, which requires the following four equipment to complete. They are:

Why the transprints fail?

The adhesion is a result of the chemical components of the activator softening the base coat layer and allowing the ink to form a bond with it. One of the most common causes of a failure to achieve adhesion between the two layers is a poorly applied activator. This can be either too much activator being applied or too little.
