Felt Belt Type Handling System for Aluminum Extrusion Machine/ Three Head Puller
Description
The puller system adopts two puller heads to run between the upper and lower guide rails and one hot saw to run on an independent track. The two puller heads are equipped with servo power devices respectively. The generated power is used to clamp the profile, raise/lower the bottom clamp, and control the in/out of the bottom clamp. There is a sawing motor on the hot saw, the sawing power is driven by a cylinder, and it has an oil injection cooling system
Extrusion machine specification | 1000T |
Aluminum billet diameter | Φ127mm |
Length of initial area | 10m |
Length of pulling area | 37m |
Direction | Same as extrusion machine |
Height of max. profile | 180 mm |
Width of max. profile | 210 mm |
Advantages
Use two puller head to pull the profile and hot saw for cutting. It can be cut at the parking mark or welding mark of the profile to reduce the waste of the profile. The puller head can receive materials at the extrusion port or the water tank port.
The three-head puller system does not need to rely on the non-extrusion cycle to reschedule the expected next extrusion cycle.
Using PLC control technology, the puller provides the following different operating procedures to adapt to different extrusion modes
The three-head puller allows the puller head to return at a low speed, and the control system provides continuously changing pulling force as a system, the three-head puller provides higher output while reducing waste.
Upper puller head
On this puller head, there is a built-in servo power device. The generated power is used to clamp the profile, raise/lower the bottom clamp, control the in/out of the bottom clamp, and all the components on the upper puller head are pre-assembled and wired, including control valves, sensors, etc. The control components of the system are in a position that is
easy to operate and maintain.
Lower puller head
Lower puller head is same as the upper puller head. Also have one built-in servo power device
Main power supply cabinet
Located at the position of the extruder at the front end of the track, it provides the power required for each puller to move at a controlled speed, position and pulling force. Each puller head is driven by a different drive chain and a separate servo motor. The drive includes the necessary gears and guards, and an encoder is used to provide continuous position update information.
