Pall Ring
Pall Ring is the second generation of tower packing and is generally classified as a standard tower packing.
Pall Ring is an upgrade version of Raschig ring and can reduce pressure drop while maintaining the same specific surface area because of its open structure.There are a variety of sizes and materials for selection, including ceramic, plastic and metal.
Based on the balance of Pall ring between mass transfer effect and pressure drop, it has become the most common packing in industrial use.
