VDP is used for Power Transmission Line & Power Distribution Line & Power Transformer manufacture.

Functions:

Simply Said is to Remove Water content & Gas, & particulates to increase the Transformer oil/ Insulation Oil's Dielectric strength Value.

Why Water in the oil need to be removed?

Oil includes thousands of additives along with the base stock. And the Typically additives are rust & oxidation (R&O) inhibitors, anti-corrosion, anti-wear, anti-foaming and extreme pressure (EP) agents, and viscosity index improvers

1. Wear:

Significant concentrations of water in Oil fluids can result in decreased viscosity, load carrying ability, and dynamic film thickness. This will increase component wear.

2. Sludge & other insoluble materials:

Water, in combination with a metal catalyst, can lead to the formation of oxygenated compounds, notably acidic compounds.

eventually, high molecular weight polymeric compounds. The polymeric compounds often are insoluble and settle out of the fluid as gums, resins or sludges.

What machine you should choose to remove water, to clean your oil?

There are two kinds of oil purifier in this world: one is Vacuum Oil Distillation machine, and the other is our VDP Vacuum Dehydration machine.

Vacuum Oil Distillation machine, use a high vacuum & very high temperature to remove the water, gas, and volatile gases. The disadvantage is the oil will be degraded.

Our VDP Vacuum Dehydration machine , use special vacuum chamber with special oil spray device, can remove water in low temperature. Advantage is remove water without degrade the oil.
