Composition:
50mg oxytetracycline hydrochloride per ml
Indication:
Arthritis, gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by oxytetracycline,Sensitivemicro-organisms, like Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E. coli,Haemophilus,Mycoplasma, Pasteurella,
Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcusand Streptococcusspp., in calves, goats, sheep and swine.
Dosage and Administration:
The dose of oxytetracycline injection ranges from 5mg to 10mg per kilo of body weight of the animal
according to the severity,mode and type of infection. The dose of oxytetracycline injection 10mg per kilo
of body weight is for the treatment of acute and chronic infections and should be continued twice daily
for 1 to 5 days. Generally the symptoms of efficacy are quite evident within 24 to 48 hours.
Withdrawal Time:
-For meat: 28 days
-For Milk: 7 days
Storage:
Store in acool place and do not expose to light.
Precaution:
1) Do not exceed the above mentioned dosage
2) Keep out of reach of children
3) Wash hands after use. In case of contact with eyes of skin, wash immediately with water as
irritation may occur
