What is ship launching airbag?

Marine air-bag, made of synthetic-tire-cord sheets and rubber sheets, was invented in Shandong province, China in early 1980s. It’s used to launch or haul out vessels as its first trying in marine industry. Comparing to traditional launching ways, like dry docks, mechanical slide way, ship launching airbag has the advantages in time saving, labor saving and cost saving.
