Description

This series diesel engine is divided into two types, i.e. left- hand and right-hand engines.

Right-hand engine: viewing from flywheel end, the crankshaft rotating clockwise;

Left-hand engine: viewing from flywheel end, the crankshaft rotating anticlockwise;

The series engines are mainly used for ship propulsion, and also can be used as primer mover for power station, locomotive, exploratory boring for crude oil and sea boring. This engine use for China Hainan class navy ship.

Remark︰Model 12VE230ZC-AM and CM diesel engine are on the basis of works to produce marine main engines for naval ships, Is a new generation engine with high power and medium speed.
With the prominent features such as compact structure, small dimension, light weight, easy operation and maintenance, safe running under severe condition, this series engines gain favorable comments from users.
The series engines are equipped with coupling and astern-ahead clutch gear-case according to the rotation direction and speed of propeller of developing requirement. It is often equipeed with GWC series gear-case at present, and makes feature of coaxing of input shaft and output shaft, with reduction ratio of 3~5. Besides the manual control beside engine, it also supplies two remote control methods for user to choose: electrical control and pneumatic control.
