Introduction

LQD8EA is a new version of saddle stitching equipment put forward by our company, it is upgraded on the base of LQD8E and developed with our sophisticated experience after we widely collected a lot of customer' s ideas and absorbed advanced technique both from home and abroad. LQD8EA consists of gathering, stitching, trimming and delivery with the advantages of good quality, high efficiency, wide production range, perfect check-up & control system and convenient operation, it can be used for stitching and trimming books, magazines, etc. suitable for medium and large scale printing houses.

The machine is in streamlined appearance combined with turnable feeders, stitching unit, three knife trimmer, delivery, electric system, check up and controlling system. The number of feeders can be equipped as per the actual requirement of the customer with flexibility.

1 With advanced optical-electrical check up & controlling technique for ensuring correctness and stability for check up & controlling system.

2 Positive pressure blowing device is used on the feeders, it can help signature to fall more stably.

3 Book feeding structure with belt nipping device is stable and reliable.

4 Optimized structure design, the stitching and trimming range is large, book feeding is more stable and the noise is lower, however it is easier for adjustment also.

5 Streamlined appearance catches eyes and looks nice.

Processing procedures

1.Stack the folded signatures on the gathering positions.

2.Air pump supplies the air.

3.Gathering unit transfers the signatures on the book conveying chain automatically according to the page order.

4.Book conveying chain transfers the signatures into stitching unit. At the same time, the signatures are inspected separately page by page via photo-cell inspection, deflective inspection and thickness-measuring inspection.

5.Transfer the unstitched books with signature-leaking or signature-surplus into the waste conveyor and the stitched books into trimming unit.

6.Stitched books are trimmed on three edges in trimming unit, and registered by two steps of guides.

7.Trimmed books are delivered according to the set value of book separating quantity.
