SGS Certification Silicone Rubber Fiberglass Sleeving For Cold Temperature Protection
Description for High-Temperature Silicone Rubber Fiberglass Sleeving
Silicone-coated fiberglass sleeves withstand repeated exposure to molten steel, aluminum, and glass up to 3000°F. These specially designed compounds instantly shed a splash of molten metal, so little heat transfer occurs. These Sleeves are rough-textured, woven from non-combustible knitted E-type fiberglass yarns with 5mm rhombus air gaps at every 3mm distance, providing self-cooling in a flexible substrate, and are covered with a thick layer of red silicone rubber that provides a high level of thermal insulation and fire protection. When exposed to flames, the silicone rubber becomes an outer shell, forming a protective SiO2 refractory layer that effectively prevents burns from hot hoses and flexible steam lines while reducing heat loss.
Impede heat radiation of flame Sheds molten spatter of metals and glass
Resistant to slag and resin build-up, Protects against abrasion, solvents, and corrosive chemicals
Protect operators against scorching contacts of metal hoses and pipes
Impede heat lost and favor to saving energy
No harmful by-products of combustion
Easy to install, when selecting protective hose sleeving, measure the outside diameter of your hose and add approximately 1/4."
Operation Temperature
Continuous Operating Temperature: -65 ° C - 260 ° C
15-20 minutes: 1090 ° C
15-30 seconds: 1650 ° C

Features:
Fire-resistant & Heat-resistant fiberglass sleeving is the non-alkali fiberglass braided sleeving coated with silicone rubber. This sleeving possesses great heat insulation and flame resistance.
Application:
Mainly used in steel plants, smelters, glass, and other thermal places to protect the hose, hose assemblies, and cables. It also helps maintain line temperature and reduce environmental overheating and overcooling.
Transportation (Aerospace, Auto, Locomotive, Heavy Equipment)
Generally used in electrical and electronic wiring, lighting, industrial machinery, electric products, and other places of high temperature
