580gsm 260℃ Fiberglass Cloth Thermal Insulation Jacket Fabric With 2-Sides Silicone Coated
Product Description
Silicone-coated fiberglass fabric is a common material for the production of removable thermal jackets. Double layer of silicone fiberglass fabric with fiberglass needle pads between them. So it's a sandwich design. Surface silicone fiberglass material is heat-resistant and fire-resistant. It is made of base cloth - 430g/m2 fiberglass fabric with a satin weave and then coated with grey or red silicone/rubber on both sides. Coatings are typically 40/40, 60/60, 75/75, 100/100. For this 0.45mm, the total weight based on the 75/75 coating is 580g/m2.
Fiberglass fabrics are fire resistant and high tensile strength. The silicone coating improves its abrasion resistance, electrical insulation and chemical resistance. And because of its fire resistance, the fiberglass fabric is resistant to 550°C (1022°F) and the coating can withstand 260°C (550°F) continuously. But the coating is also electrically insulating, so this fabric is suitable for protective covers for electrical equipment.
