ELECMAN ® 1/2" UL1242 ANSI 80.6 Intermediate Metal Conduit(IMC Conduit)
Applications
ELECMAN® Intermediate metal conduit. A lighter-weight alternative to rigid metal conduit, weighing approximately 33% less than rigid metal conduit (RMC). Like rigid conduit, it shields against EMI, offers reduced exposure to EMF, and provides an excellent electrical path to the ground, which is recognized as an equipment grounding conductor by the National Electrical Code (NEC).

ELECMAN ® UL1242 ANSI C80.6 electrical 3/4 inch IMC conduits shall be carbon steel, electrically welded, galvanized and produced to the following specifications:

ELECMAN ® UL1242 ANSI C80.6 electrical 3/4 inch IMC conduits are listed to UL Safety Standard 1242 and manufactured in accordance with ANSI C80.6. details shall accord with Table 1.

Raw Material
ELECMAN ® Intermediate Metal Conduit (IMC) is produced from Carbon structural steel (Q195).

Manufacturing Process
ELECMAN ® Intermediate Metal Conduit (IMC) is manufactured according to the following production process:
Quality Control
Every ELECMAN people know deeply the core value of ELECMAN is to provide high quality products to customers, that is why ELECMAN QC departments have very strict quality controlling process, from raw material to products, ELECMAN QC department supervise every process, make sure every process follow the standard, for IMC conduits, QC department need to inspect the dimensions, welding line, zinc coatings and bending feature.
Packing Information
IMC conduits are packed in bundles with woven bag, we also can put customers’ sticker on pipes, on woven bag, we will put a big sticker with detailed information for customers to distinguish different sizes. For regular packing information, please check the Table 2.
