Description
Surface mount mild standard enclosure in RAL 7035 light grey
Application:

Mild steel wall mounted enclosures made from a continuous length of sheet steel. Both internally and externally protected with texturized polyester epoxy resin RAL7035 grey paint. IP66 and IK10 rated.

  • Welded studs on the back for direct fixing of mounting plates and other accessories
  • Concealed hinges allow the easy reversal of the door as well as enabling 120o door opening
  • Suitable for use indoors
  • Foamed-in polyurethane gasket and front rain gutter ensures high degree of protection
  • Supplied with two locks as standard.

Construction

  • Formed 1.2mm or 1.5mm steel.
  • Smooth, continuously welded seams ground smooth.
  • Door stiffeners are provided where required for increased strength and rigidity - designed to also permit additional mounting options.
  • Formed lip on enclosure to exclude flowing liquids and contaminants.
  • Door latches feature the added safety of quarter turn slot requiring use of tool for opening.
  • Doors may be easily removed for modifications and are interchangeable.
  • Seamless poured-in place gasket.
  • Collar studs provided for mounting plate
  • Includes hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for wall mounting holes.
  • Bonding stud provided on door and grounding stud installed in enclosure.
  • turn latch and multi-point handle (key lockable) are zinc diecast with epoxy finish.

  • Enclosure: sheet steel 1.2mm till height 800 then 1.5mm
  • Door: sheet steel 1.2mm till height 600 then 1.5mm
  • Mounting plate:1.5mm till height 800 then 2.0mm
